Ethan's Story

Ethan was always a creative child, constantly doodling and sketching in his notebook. But his parents noticed that he had a hard time focusing on schoolwork and staying still for long periods of time. After a series of tests, it was diagnosed that Ethan had Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Being a young teenager, Ethan was initially upset about his diagnosis, but as his parents we reassured him that ADHD is not something to be ashamed of and that it just means his brain works a little differently.

Despite his struggles, Ethan’s passion for art never faded. As parents we encouraged him to channel his creativity into something productive and suggested starting a small business. And with that, Ethan’s T-shirt business was born.

At just 13 years old, Ethan launched his own brand: “Savage Print Studio.” He designed each T-shirt by hand, using his unique artistic style and incorporating his love for bright colours and bold designs. He also enjoys collaborating with other like-minded creatives and you will see lots of different designs and styles coming in over the new year. What started as a hobby for Ethan soon turned into a full-blown business, with orders pouring in from all over the neighbourhood and schoolyard

But Ethan didn’t want to just sell T-shirts, he wanted to make a difference. Being someone who always struggled with fitting in, he wanted to create designs that brought people together. And that’s when he came up with the idea to make family-friendly T-shirts.

Ethan’s designs were an instant hit, with families ordering them for family reunions, vacations, and even just for everyday wear. But it wasn’t just about the sales for Ethan. He wanted to use his business to spread awareness about ADHD and break the stigma surrounding it.

Today, Ethan’s business continues to thrive, and he has expanded his designs beyond T-shirts to include bags, hats, and other accessories. But most importantly, he has become an advocate for ADHD, using his platform to educate and inspire others.

So next time you see a family wearing a unique family-friendly T-shirts with bold and colourful designs, you never know, it could be one of Ethan’s creations. And behind each of those designs is a 13-year-old boy who turned his struggles into something beautiful and meaningful. Ethan’s story shows us that with passion, determination, and a little bit of creativity, anything is possible.

ADHD is not a disorder of knowing what to do, it’s a disorder of doing what you know — at the right times and places.
